Take a tour or guide yourself to view our wonderful city of its fabulous collection of Art Deco, Stripped Classical and Spanish mission Architecture.
- New Zealand's National Aquarium
Located on the waterfront and now boasting a Penguin enclosure and our Icon, the Kiwi, or just leisurely swim with the sharks! What better way to spend an afternoon.
The region boasts over 150 vineyards and nearly 100 wineries that are scattered all around our region. Guided tours can be arranged on your behalf to enjoy or plan your own tour.
- Gannet Tours
The world's largest mainland gannet colony is situated at Cape Kidnappers. You have options of an overland tour by 4WD or an adventurous, tractor ride long the coastline.
- Cycle Trails
Do you want to get on a bike when you come to the Hawke's Bay? We now have over 180 kilometeres of on-road and off-road trails where you will see and cycle everything from mountainous lookouts, forestry trails, winery adventures or just cycle along our lowland river terraces to the sweeping Hawke's Bay coastline which enclose some of our endangered wetland wildlife.

Hawke's Bay has a feast of golf courses in our area, notably Cape Kidnappers which is rated in the top 50 courses in the world. We have four top courses all within 15 minutes of Napier.
